Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.

I want this nightmare to end. I am too tired, too missing my husband and too not in control of my feelings. Just once couldn't my life be easy.

And then this comes to mind:

Trust in the LORD

with all thine heart

and lean not onto thine own understanding;

In all thy ways acknowledge him;

and he shall direct thy paths.
